Painting the fall colors

 A couple of recent plein air pieces.
This has been the  most colorful fall I've ever seen in Colorado!

Right: Everything I need for a day of painting - I love that I can carry my 'office' on my back!

    I love both of these paintings, especially the one with the lake. I really miss the fall season in Colorado with those blazing aspens. Sigh!

    Looking good, Jane! This is wonderful. I like your paint box set-up too. Which kind are you using in the photo? And do you like it?

    Thanks Diana! It's a Sienna, and I really like it. It's the medium and is wonderfully lightweight and easy to travel with, although I think the large is better as far as actual palette space.
