I think this will be my entry for the American Impressionist Society juried show - I'm proud to be an associate member and support this wonderful organization.

  5. I definitely see a bit of a turn in your style with this one, Jane. But I must say that it is just as beautiful as always. Love those golds that show some of the aridity that can be found in the west.

  10. Great texture in this one, it gives it an immediate feel. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it gets in.

    I'm still enjoying the painting of yours that I won right before I had my daughter. TIn case I never sent you an email (which I can't remember if I did or not), thank you for sending it, it's beautiful.

    No insider tips I'm afraid (definitely visit the Tate) I moved to the US when I was a teenager, so long ago I bet everything's changed! I bet Adebanji (see blog list) has some great tips and painting locations!
