    Jane, I haven't a clue why images aren't showing up on the blog roll. On my own blog roll, some of the images don't show up either. It might be because I had to switch to the "new" format for some reason. I can't remember why, but I couldn't do something and had to change to fix it. Since then, I have all kinds of issues.
